As served at the world famous Dukes Hotel Bar in St James, London, martini maestro Alessandro Palazzi coats the inside of a chilled martini glass with a few drops of Sacred English Dry Vermouth.

He then pours in two shots of Sacred Gin or Vodka directly from the freezer. He takes a lemon and pares a long slice of zest, avoiding the pith, holds it over the glass and squeezes widthways so the surface of the drink is coated in oil. Finish by rubbing the rim of the glass with the zest and drop into the Martini.
