French 75

The gin-spiked cousin of the '75' cocktail invented in 1922, this was named after a piece of light artillery, the 75 field gun, with which it shares it's 'small but mighty' character.

Method

Add a double shot of your chosen Sacred Gin, a shot of lemon juice and a shot of sugar syrup (mix cane sugar 1:1 with warm water) to a cocktail shaker and shake with ice. Strain into a champagne flute and top with champagne or sparkling wine.
